At daycare, Madison's little friend Tony calls Madison Mama because he can't say Madison. When you ask Madison what her name is, she now says Ma.

Big Girl Chair

I have to start out by saying that this job stuff is really putting a damper on my blogging and photo time. Jeesh.

OK, now to my story and photo.

This past week I opened my front door to find a gigantic box with this chair for Madison in it. I opened the packing slip and it said Happy early birthday Madison, from cousin Jada. Wow, Jada's only two months old and already has a job and a credit card.(she also has her own email address, seriously, but that's another post entirely:)

OK, in all seriousness, Madison loves her big girl chair and loves reading in it. I keep promising Katie a photo of Madison in it, so here it is.



I have more photos, but am short on time tonight, so I'll get to those later.

Sick girl

This weekend Madison had a stomach bug. It wasn't fun, but today you would have never known she was sick. It was nice outside, so we went out and played.

Dryer

I left the dryer door open tonight. I'll give you 3 guesses who found it.





Madison's favorite's lately are "cooking" and playing with her baby. She even cooks in the tub.



And I'm not sure if I like what I did in photoshop on this one or not.

New things

Here are some video's of some of Madison's new "talents". This weekend I asked Madison what a cow says and to my surprise, she new it.
Madison't new favorite song is Baby Beluga and likes to sing the baby part. Please excuse the bad mommy singing of Baby Beluga .

Our week

Well this week was a big change for us all. I went back to work and Madison went to daycare. (Josh just continued to do whatever it is he does. Haha.) The first couple days were a little rough, but I think we are getting a little more used to it. I have learned that my house is going to be a lot messier, and I have to start planning dinner in advance, because I no longer have the luxury of starting dinner at 4 in the afternoon.

Madison has learned so many new words in the past couple weeks. Shoes, cheese, juice, cracker, trees, more are a couple words that I can think of off the top of my head. She is doing new things too. When I ask her what a duck says, she says quack, quack, quack. When she spilled some milk, she ran to the kitchen, grabbed a towl and came back and cleaned it up, without us saying anything.

This evening she was being very silly in the bathtub. Everytime I said whoa, as she tried to drink bath water, she started laughing.

Purses

A girl can never have too many purses!

Pretty Piggies

Last night Madison watched me paint my toes, and then she wanted her's painted. She surprised me, because she held her feet very still and watched intently. We call them her "pretty piggies."



"Where are you pretty piggies Madison?"


"Where are mommy's pretty piggies?"


I think I need to get a pink polish for Madison in the future though.
